CT Services On Hold During SF County Permitting Process
Many within our patient and physician community have been curious about how the newest local cannabis regulations have affected Constance Therapeutics, and whether it will affect you personally. We're happy to report that while we are currently pausing our activity, this is a temporary situation and there is no cause for concern!
San Francisco County conducted their inspection of our facilities last week, and it went extremely well. We are now simply in a holding pattern waiting for our permit to be processed by the County, which will allow us to be fully operational. Until we receive the new permit, we are currently required to put all production and sales activity on hold, so product deliveries and patient services are temporarily unavailable. This pause unfortunately means that some patients will experience a gap in service and in access to our medicinal extracts, which we know may be stressful and disruptive to your daily treatment protocol. We are deeply sorry for any inconvenience this may cause our customers, but we have no control over the County's timeline.
We predict it will take several more weeks for the permit to be processed, but at that point we will be able to resume all normal manufacturing and patient care. We are here to answer any questions in the meantime, and to assure you that we are equally anxious for our permit to be finalized so that we can continue helping our patients. As soon as we receive word that we are approved to resume operations, we will notify you!
Thank you for your understanding and support – you are the reason we do this work.
