CPBE Brings Cannabis to the Hospital
In early August, Constance Finley, founder and CEO of Constance Pure Botanical Extracts, addressed a captive audience of physicians, fellows, and nursing staff at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in Oakland, one of the nation’s top-ranking children’s hospitals.
It was the first time that anyone had spoken about whole plant cannabinoid therapeutics at the hospital.
The occasion was a lecture entitled, “The New Phenomena of Cannabis Oil: Experience from the Field,” in which Constance told of her personal and professional journey to cannabis and discussed the latest research from cannabinoid science as well as the exciting possibilities for the future.
Attendees to Constance’s lecture earned Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits that are important to physicians for maintaining their credentials. Departments as diverse as pediatrics, hematology, oncology, pain, and palliative care were represented.
Constance and the CPBE team are grateful for the opportunity to help bring cannabis out of the closet and into the hospital.
For more than 6 years now, Constance Finley has been making pure therapeutic oils derived from the cannabis plant, enhancing her natural CBD and THC-rich extracts to benefit patients suffering from cancer, Lyme disease, and other debilitating illnesses. Alongside her skilled and knowledgeable team, Constance now travels the nation educating doctors, patients and the general public about the curative effects of pure marijuana strains and medical cannabis products.
